Hi; I found out about this site from Jim and it looks like there are a lot of informed collectors in this group. I have been promoting shows in Ottawa, Ont. for over 15 years and have been a dealer / collector since 1989.
I would like to think I have a fairly extensive knowledge of hockey cards, food issues and non sport cards etc.
I have bought and sold some pretty amazing items over the years with my best item being an original 1902 Stanley Cup ring along with a Stanley Cup lapel pin and engraved pocket watch from Billy Nicholson, the goaltender for the 1902 Montreal AAA championship team.
I have also handled vintage hockey wax and uncut sheets amongst many other things.
I look forward to hearing from other members.
Regards, Mike

Mike,

Your reputation precedes you. I've heard great things about. Glad you found this forum. Not quite as confrontational as other forums (yet), but give it time and I'm sure that the "hockey game will break out during the fight that I went to."

The big rain has been in DC and Baltimore and further north. We just have greener grass and no flooding to speak of.

Good to hear Mark. If it ends up getting flooded the city could always bring back Fabio to take care of things !! Talk to you soon, Mike Q.
