Lambert & Butler Montreal Victorias

I recently picked up a GAI7 version of the Lambert & Butler 1927 Montreal Victorias card. I know that Lambert & Butler (I believe they are an English tobacco company) issued a 50 card set of sports figures and that this is the only hockey card in the series. I know that the Montreal Victorias were an early (late 1800s Stanley Cup champion).

What about the 1927 version of the Victorias - an amateur team? Who are these guys? Anyone know?

Mark. I believe they were kind of like a Team Canada at the time. They went around Europe playing club teams and may have represented Canada at an Olympics. I've seen the card on ebay and always wanted to bid on one but always seem to forget at the end. Jim.

There are two variations to this card, one from England and one made in Canada as well!
Neat card but no advertisement has been found to confirm more.

Bobby - how do you tell if it was printed in England or Canada?
