Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to everyone. I am a collector of pre war hockey and baseball cards. In the past 10 years i have managed to put together complete sets of C55, C56
51-52 Parkhurst and 54-55 Topps. I also collect Sawchuk items as well as Turofsky photos. I look forward to talking vintage hockey and learning more about this great hobby from fellow board members.

Welcome to the boards, Mike. I have been a collector for about 12 years, but I just found this board this summer. It has been a great place for discussion and to learn things I wouldn't ever have learned on my own. I've also made a few purchases and trades from people on the board.
The more, the merrier. Great sets that you're into (no personal bias). I still consider Terry Sawchuk the best post-war goalie (sorry, Roy, Plante, Broda, Esposito and Brodeur fans). We're mostly a civil group in this small corner of the collecting world.
