Shill bidding?

Some of you know or have dealt with the current high bidder on this auction. I believe that he is being bumped to his max, not by the seller but by another bidder using a bogus id. I think the high bidder is being pushed to his max just for sport or spite. Jim.

Could be shilling Jim, but at the end of the day I don't think it will matter as I would guess that there are a number of snipe bids still to come. Quite a few people were talking about this card at the show including Glen.

not sure about that...

I have never had problems with Tim, I'd even say he is very honest guy

it happens all the time but....

if I put in a high enough bid, then that's what I am willing to pay for it....if someone wants to make 100 $1 bids to find my bid point, then what can you do? If they want to snipe it for higher than my max bid, all the more power to them. I'll just buy the next one....

Dan

Elmar. Is Tim the seller? I do not think it is him, I think it is someone else.

Well I don't know...

vinylite99 is Tim Sutton
A couple of months ago or so I won a few of his items, paid for uninsured shipping.
The package was lost and he refunded 100% immediately.

Let me put that into better words. I do not think that the seller was shilling, I think it is someone else.

and what would be the point of doing that except to maintain/elevate the card's market value?

y718 is 'He who shall not be named'

The other 0 feedback bidder is most likely him also. He is trying to jack up Glen's price for spite.

I'm certain the seller has nothing to do with this.

Anyone know the winner?

Mark, sorry I can't post it here. You can see that the guy has 100 positive feedbacks from all vintage sellers (Gerry, Skerbe, Dave Martel, etc) and no negatives. But of course, it doesn't mean a lot.
