Hello folks ,just would like to say I purchased a graded SCG 8 1960 Maurice Richard on Nov 4 from a seller in Vancouver by the ebay name of 79bella. I paid by money order only to find out a week later that the seller is no longer registerd with ebay. When I checked my "view payment" on the listing, the name was different than the original name I sent the money order to. To my suprise the new name was Chad Ellsworth who is the same character that Jim is haviing a problem with and I think Bobby is too. I filed a claim with ebay as I have not received the card and no responses to my emails. There is no phone # on the listing (doesn't surprise me). Beware of this name. He is a crook.

Jim, with all this idiot's criminal activities. I'am wandering if there is anything the few of us, who have had dealings with him, could do legally. Maybe a call to the local police in Vancouver. Any suggestions?

Was he using a Marine Drive address in North Vancouver?

Thanks for your quick response Jim. Yes, his address is 302 1989 marine drive North Vancouver. The name used in the invoice was Andria Pezzente with the same address, who I made the money order to. When I found out that the seller was no longer registered and checked my "view payment", his name appears in the mailing address. Can you change the inovoicing name on a auction after it closes? Maybe this is why ebay suspended him because of his current behavoir on ebay.

If there is any members who live in Vancouver maybe they can recomend the local police stations number. I wander how many other people he has stung with his fraudulant behavoir and will continue under different ebay I.D.'s

He sold a few cards that night in other auctions, and one of them was a PSA 8 1965 Gordie Howe 600th goal card, which I was bidding on. The winner was planetice who buys and sells on ebay. He also lives in Vancouver (I have bought a few cards from him in the past). I'am trying to contact him but ebay will not allow the message to go through I guess to prevent fraudulent activities. I do not have his email adress.

I have found both those last names in the North Vancouver phone book but neither at the Marine Drive address. I may just call them both and ask for our boy Chad.

As mentined in my earlier response, I found that planetice is currently listing a few cards for sale. I sent him a message with my concerns and if he received his card from Chad Ellsworth. I hope to get a response. I hate this to sound like a soap but this S.O.B. has to be stopped B-4 he does this crap all over again under a different ebay I.D. name.
