Here is a change of subject:

I'm also working on a 1957 Parkhurst set in PSA 7. I am close to having the set finished, but I do need 5 of the short prints. If anyone has any of them to sell, please let me know. Here is what I need.

Toronto #3 Duff
Montreal #1 Harvey, #2 Geoffrion, #4 H. Richard RC, #5 M. Richard

I have asked about these before, but no one has ever responded, so I'm still looking!

Earl

earl. I know I've told you a few times that I will send you a list but I was slow getting the cards to psa. The Richard rc is there now, I'll let you know. Jim.

My PSA 6 Richard rookie cost me $550. That's one tough card. In fact, all of '57 Parkies cost me a fortune.

The only reasonable one I had and it just went to Albie

Jim--when do you expect to get your 57 Parkies back from PSA? I actually need 9 cards to finish the set, but I wanted to ask about the short prints.

Tom, I saw your Pulford on eBay. I already have that card, but I do need the Richard RC in a PSA 7. I know that card doesn't go cheap, but I'll get one eventually.

Yes, I bought Tom's Mahovlich. I was very happy to get the card, especially considering I had a few deals fall through for that card with major dealers. Below is my PSA 7 Richard which I also got a good price on from Gerry Chartrand at an Expo.

Great scans guys have not had this much fun since I traded vinatage cards with my buddies in the early 90's showing off the great cards. The Henri Richard in high grade seems harder to find then the Rockets rookie!! All my scans are tooo big can not seem to fit them unto the forum. Dan

Pop on Richard

December 8 2006, 10:54 PM

I have not seen too many Richard's at shows in any grades but the PSA POP report indicates it is not that tough a card with 21 seven's and 15 eight's. The Pulford has 15 seven's and 9 eight's making it significantly tougher. Interestingly, PSA has graded 714 eight's from the set and only 498 seven's. I seldom see high grade raw from this set at the shows.

Its a pre print test card that Parkhurst did. Sometimes these test copies got out of the factory before they were destroyed....super rare stuff.
