Non-Vintage

I never did get around to reading the rules (actually I don't think I could find them) so not sure if I am putting myself in jeopardy by asking this; but wondering if anyone else here collects any non-vintage cards ? I guess by that I mean the last 10 years or so (15 ?) Have had glimpses of some wonderful collections of pre-war cards; many nice Orrs; some nice Parkies. Just curious (it's in my nature).

Personally, I have an Orr GU card (just one) but other than a couple of Espositos from ITG that I liked the look of and a few other GU pieces (all vintage players) and autos of vintage players from newer sets (primarily the ITG Original Six), my non-vintage is limited to a collection of Patrice Bergeron RCs, my current favorite player. I did have more at one time but have decided to concentrate on the vintage and I find it hard (mainly financially) to do that and keep up with the new stuff. Plus I think that most of it is crap.

Al-
Don't feel ackward about what you collect or if you have much vintage cards to show.
I don't think they were checking "cards" at the door for admission--kidding--
I collect all tpyes of cards including the newer GU cards but more to collect of the vintage players that are in my collection or of the Montreal Canadiens.
This place / forum is for the appreciation discussion of the old school hockey--no matter the collecting media.
I have some of the 80's and some 90's in my collection and have fallen into the 90's boom --but who hasn't--
BTW I do have some Orr's to show--Need to scan em for you.
Ron
