Who is walter smail ? it is a great hockey player? This player is not a member of hockey HOF.

Why this card have this big value. In the c55 i know the reason it is because the 2 variation but in c57 and sweet caporal postcard why the smail card have a value higher than a common player ?
can you help me with this question?

I think his C57 card has the BV of other "commons" in this rare series. His Sweet Caporal postcard BV is higher, though.

yes i have see this but why this value is high like this ?

immediatly when this card is in a auction the auction will be toutch high ended price. Why this player is search like this.

Smail Card - C55 thoughts

I think part of the reason for the high value is the fact that it's the only card that has a variation, so that adds to the curiosity factor. It also seems to come up for sale far less often than other "commons" from the C55 set (either version), so perhaps it is shortprinted or collectors are hoarding them.
