Just bought a second year Plante card (1957-58 Parkhurst #15) PSA 5 for $101.36. That seems a tad low to me. Do you guys agree, and how do you feel vintage prices on eBay are trending this off-season?

I think this is the best time to buy hockey. Everyone is enjoying the summer and prices will pick back up this winter. There are great investments out there, just look at some of the final prices on Ebay lately (especially the 2 Bobby Orr PSA 10's that were recently sold). I wouldn't think of trying to sell something big with the way things are, this is how it is every offseason. Enjoy it while it lasts.

David, that is a great buy! A raw one in the same grade sold for $165 a few days back.

I saw that auction. The card was billed as EX-MT, which would be PSA 6. However, I'm not sure if the one I bought looks much different. I guess I'll know when I get it.
