Just a little heads-up on grading disparities from PSA.

The ugliest PSA 10 I've ever seen on EBAY. Isn't PSA 10 suppose to
be the perfect card. The OPC rough-cut, a lightly blurr face, the double
black line on the bottom right just to list the obvious and some
probabilities of surface defects that we can't see on the scan!!!

IMO, it would have made a nice PSA 8.

For the ugliest PSA 9, I have it! And what a deception it was when I received it.

Any bad luck with graded cards, anyone?



P.S.: I bought my first two 54' Topps PSA 8 two weeks ago. It is true, these cards are nice
looking, but I'm personally more attracted by the little 51' and 52' sketched cards.

Notice how they placed a white piece of paper behind the slab to hide the frosting?

Guess this card in question was more about the plastic than it was about the card...

Absolutely!

The other side of the coin is that some hockey cards collectors seem
to collect the PSA # on the plastic instead of its content.

I can't believe they are driving such an average card over $300.

The funny part is I have the 72' OPC set almost completed in its raw form.
Most of the cards are nicer looking than this one but would turn as 8 and
a few 9s.
