Re: Now That the Auction is over........

I have never seen this before!!! Minutes after the auction ended I get this email from ebay and the listing just went poof. This is very bizarre. Did the seller get a better offer after the auction and was able to do this? Did ebay get a bunch of emails saying this stuff was fake and didn't act until after the auction? For those who didn't se it, the auction was for 5 cards that were advertised as 1927 Owen Sound players.

eBay

I saw the original post and thought that the cards were interesting, but I wouldn't have paid that much for cards from an unlisted set that may or may not be authentic.

Buy the deal with eBay is very strange. I haven't ever seen them end an auction after it ended! I guess it gets the buyer off the hook, but if you didn't protest to eBay then something seems strange. I almost wonder if the buyer didn't decide to sell them to someone else. I can't imagine why eBay would be so secretive about why they end an auction. If I were the high bidder, I would be contacting the seller and/or eBay to see what happened.

Let us know if you ever get more info.

Earl

did anyone save a picture of these? It sometimes best to save the pictures incase the auction is over and he takes the pictures off his site...

I agree with Bobby....

Should of saved the pictures.I have disputed these before with Ebay & they always defend the seller but my understanding was a seller could not end the auction with 12 hours remaining so I would go out on a limb & guess that Ebay may have shut this one down,BTW those are just my OPINIONS
