Now you know what you card is worth if it grades a PSA 4 - at least $450.00!!
Nice pick up! These cards are the rarest OPC's!

Series C is by far the rarest, I don't think the D or E series are nearly as rare. If you consider the 1940-41 lithigraphs to count as OPC, those are fairly rare, especially the higher numbers.

Mark,
You will most likely never see those cards again on eBay. I have been serching for 1935 OPC's on eBay for 3 years and these are the only 2 graded copies that have come up for sale. I have seen very few un-graded copies but even in un-graded they almost never come up.
Gerry also told me that those cards were the first realy nice copies he has seen in 20 years.
I think you have confused rarity with popularity. The 36-37 OPC-D's are the most popular, but by far the most rare. I would rate rarity as C >> E >> D > A and B. However, the C and E sets don't have as many HOFers and big cards as A/B or D. For that reason (plus the C & E sets are sort of drab), that's why I think they're not as popular.

Maybe it's just me but I don't find the E series to be that tough. There may be more D cards graded than E but overall I think that the D series is tougher. I see way more raw E cards up here than D. Jim.

Jim,
You may see more Series E card on eBay but NOT high-grade cards. High grade in Serie E is tougher than Series D. Series D is tough but E is slightly more difficult to come by.
