"GEORGE" Howe ???!!!

Shouldn't make mistakes like that even if dead drunk
It's like "LION" Woods of golf, or "PETER" Jordan of basketball...

Did this card go for less since he made that mistake? I mean if someone did a search for Gordie Howe, then that auction wouldn't have popped up right ?

Don't know if the wrong first name affected the final price. But I wouldn't trust anything in a GAI slab.

I won the card. The last PSA 8 sold for 750. I've seen one go for as much as $1300. It seems to be a very tough card to find.
I paid $500 for my PSA 7 and this card looks much better. If it doesn't cross to a PSA 8 it still is an upgrade to my current 7 and I'm
quite happy with the purchase. I also compared it with several of my 57 PSA 8s and this card is very comparable if not nicer than at least
half of them.

I've crossed about 10 GAI cards to PSA and all of the 8s and 8.5s came back PSA 8. I had a few 7.5s that I though had a chance at
8s but came back 7s.

Just my minimal experience.

Nice looking Howe, let us know what PSA gives it.
