I don't know who he is. BUT what I can tell you is that he pays for his items with lightning fast speed. I sold him 2 cards on eBay last week and the payments came in VERY fast and I have not a problem with him at all.
Considering that he has good feedback and pays quick I think he is a good eBayer in my books.
andrew i do not see what gives you the right to ask for who an ebayer user is just because he is in competition with the cards your after.
sorry i just do not understand why you need to ask who he is.
isn't wrong to ask whos who on ebay on this forum?
some people do value there privacy!
i think this forum's moderater should have a rule not to speak of honest good people on ebay.i could understand if someone is doing bad or wrong to someone but i shure would not like it if someone asked who i am on ebay specially if i do nothing wrong.
also this ebay user is not me,i just feel for the guy if he sees a question like andrew addressed.
Wow, Didn't mean to start anything with my simple question. I said "out of nowhere" because he hadn't really gone after any C56 cards until recently and now hes won/bidding on about 15. Thats what I meant. And as far as compeition, I simply wanted to ask him if he was interested in any cards I had to sell and maybe hes got some for me. Just trying to help finish my set and help someone with theirs.
He has actually contacted me and we are working on a deal.
I don't see anything wrong with knowing who a fellow hobbyist is and trying to contact them. If he wants to keep his privacy he can let andrew know. even if he and andrew don't do any business its nice to talk to someone who has mutual interests. signed fessgreg
I agree with Greg and have found a number of fellow collectors who I bought/sold/traded with by asking who they were on public forums just as Andrew did.
