1933 WWG Ice Kings "English Back Only"March 13 2008 at 12:12 AM | Damir (Login DamirTomicic) |
| Does anyone know how rare the print is for the 1933 WWG Ice Kings with the English back compared to the French back? I have a Howie Morenz with a English back that has a total PSA pop of only 2 where the French version has 37 total cards. Thanks. |

Damir,
I do not know for sure but here are my numbers -
I was able to collect all 72 cards of that set during 3-4 years time period
and I have 54 French and 18 English version cards - exactly 3 to 1 ratio |

Thanks Elmar. I guess the best way is to see what a collector of the set has been able to accomplish gathering both versions.

So do you rate the English only backs at a higher value? |

Supply and demand would say yes, but only comparable sales would be the true answer. Not sure if collectors of this set prefer one over the other. |

No Bobby,
Based on what I paid, my competition with others, and also I have records of over 80 Ice Kings sales, I would say both versions are valued by collectors about the same. |
