PSA .5 craziness

This PSA 8.5, just sold for more than $100 of the average price for a PSA 9. Does being the first one graded count for that much?

Or maybe I'm sounding like a sore loser?

No, you are not

And it's all about Gerry...

I also have question about PSA 5 craziness not 0.5
Can a card be graded that high with such stain on the front?

$933??

A psa 8 Ken Dryden opc rookie usually sells for between 425 and $529 (Gerry's price). Take a look at the psa 8.5 Dryden that just sold for $933.

If these trends continue PSA will be taking a lot of second looks at stuff they graded. Maybe even stuff they saw only a few months ago.

Count me out on the buying end.

Could see it coming

I'm not surprised with the initial interest. What I find interesting is that population reports go out the window in this case. I have a Dryden PSA 8 and I will not have it regraded. Maybe its an 8...maybe its an 8.5. Bottom line is we will never know how many 8.5s are out there hidding as 8s, so when I see a low pop for 8.5s I will take it with a grain of salt.
