Saw this item on Ebay this week. Just goes to show you how the hype and excitement of
a live auction can make people do crazy things. I was at the Maple Leaf Gardens auction
in November of 2000.( Yes, all 18 hours of it ) and the prices were out of control from the get go...
I actually did purchase 1 item, however the highlight of the day was filling the auction catalog
with auto's of Hall Of Famers. Dryden, Bower.. as well as meeting many leafs alumni...
The following item sold that day for $1265.00,( this includes the 10% buyers premium )
+ 15% tax 189.75 = $1454.75
Sold for less than the buyers premium and tax paid that day for it.
