Hey Guys,
Here is the video of the unveiling of the 64' tallboy sheet.
A little setup before you click the link: I dropped a rumour before the Expo that it might have been a 1930's display box to throw-off anyones suspections.
So I had a empty box wrapped up in a black sheet poised at the front of the booth and asked our two booth partners to open it up for all to view. They had no idea we had the sheet on site behind another sheet on an easel, watch how everyone is still looking at the box unveiling even tho the sheet is exposed. The rest you will see below by clicking the link.
hey bobby thats amazing, lucky someone said the names of the short prints as the video is to blury to see the short prints LOL.i bet ya all the guys ran across the floor buying up the short prints after that sheet was shown.LOL

if you look at the middle row you will see the single print cards of rousseau, paille, maki, horton all star, williams, hicke, villemure, pilote, mikita all star, dornhoefer and nesterenko.
they are in the exact same location as the first series sheet.the first four rows repeat itself again after the middle short printed single row.so those cards were issued at a ratio of 2:1 compared to the short prints.

great post henry, you asked me on the phone what the order was on the first series sheet for the short prints in the middle row.
it is pronovost, hull, richard, westfall, henry, green, harris, bergman, beliveau, wharram and second series checklist.
pretty neat how the first 4 rows repeats itself again after the middle short printed row.
i am really surprised that not to many people has posted about this sheet???
I knew it,I have been trying to put this set together over the past year and found many of the first series cards difficult to find, especialy the Richard. It is obvious from this newly discovered sheet that there truly are short prints. Two questions: Why does the Beckett guide still not reflect this,I can understand why they have not raised the prices but at least indicate that the card is an SP. Also,I just finished my 72 73 opc set and certain cards were way harder than others, and I'm not referring to the hi # cards but to certain cards like the Houle,Roberts,Larose and many others.I bet they short printed cards in every set. Somebody must know from the factory if this is true. Thank you so much for posting the video Bobby,it was a historical moment in card collecting. Man,I wish we had card shows like that in British Columbia, very little vintage out here.

John, nice to see you posting...as for the tallboy sheet, I have an article out on the sheet in the Toront Expo magazine reviewing this find and another article coming out in the SCG quartly magazine specifically about the sheet find.
I am working on getting into Beckett but now that Al Muir is no longer there, I find it difficult to get in contact with anyone now.
