Hey Bobby: You are not that old to remember going to games at the College Theatre. Unfortunately I am old so I remember those games well, in fact the date it all began on 9/29/62 was my 13th birthday. I used to go to the Sunday night games there. The place was packed and smoke filled and the atmosphere was really exciting unlike the Gardens or the ACC. The games I remember most were the ones against Chicago. There were a lot of back to back games on weekends then and there were plenty of fights. Games were in Black and White and the picture was grainy but ok for the time.

When the games were first broadcast on television they used to come on Saturday nights at 9:00 p.m usually early to middle of second period. Sometimes if there were fights or a delay we might get lucky and catch the start of the second period. Thanks for stirring up some good memories.
