Although there is no absolute way of proving 100% this game is the premium game that was give out, there is this evidence to lend some positive thought to it though.
This ad below, game was released in 1932 of November exclusively at Eaton's, (exclusive is the working word here), now after a year it is well known throughout the history of product exclusivity, that after a year, the exclusive rights are usually waved, then the product is usually branched out to many and in the case, the game, with not being able to be purchased anywhere, lends some credibility to Canadian Chewing Gum choosing this type of limited premium.
The card below clearly states Home Hockey Game, the capital on "H"ome shouldn't be there unless it is a name of something particular. Adding up 1 card for 1 cent and making 5 team names adds up to at least the value of this game, so I think it was a big game and not a tricket. Each team name averages at least 15 letters, times by 5, that is 75 cents in gum cards, now getting the correct letters would take you twice that at least and at a wholesale price given to CCG, the math works, in a weird way but I think you understand what I am getting at.
I believe this is the game from the premium, although it was also sold in stores, limited for the first year, maybe more!?
Food for thought.
