Acquired a nice additiion to my Toronto Maple Leaf collection. This 10k ring was given out only to the staff of the Leafs for loyalty and dedication and commemorates the Gardens 75 year and the open and close dates with all the different leaf logos used through these times.
I had to dust off the check book as soon as I saw this beauty. The scan looks a little better than the actual card...there is a slight touch on the bottom left corner. It is still a very stong EX-MT, in my opinion.
Nice Scott, I was hoping you got it backwards as the card was better than the scan..hehe.
Andrew, the Dates on the ring are 1931 (when the Gardens was built) 1999 (last year of the Gardens) also smaller 1996 is there for the 75th anniversary.
here is a picture of my recent pick up.
early 70's NHLPA pillow case.
has some neat simulated autographs of some great hall of famers like Bobby Orr,Ken Dryden,Dionne,Tony Esposito,Bucyk,Gilbert,Perreault,Howell etc.....
these were the days when autographs were very easy to read.
inside of the pillow case still has original tags with instructions to wash and company logo "Wabasso"
i have a matching large NHLPA thermos in my collection as well.

Nice Parkies album, complete with all 11 insert pages unused. There are two variations of this album, one is in the blue cardboard which they used in the couple years after albums and the grey as you have...
Yes, the first one is Billy Burch. It is only the 4th one that I know of, though I am sure there are others out there. I was definitely happy to pick up both and a few other amazing ones over the last 6 months. The Gardiner is a nice upgrade to the one that I have currently in my collection.
The four Burches I know or heard about are all in private collections. I got very lucky with mine. I have had a couple Gardiner (just sold one in the last Classic Auction) and will probably end up selling the other one that is currently in my collection so those are available more frequently, though not too often.

It would seem the albums probably reached their end of the order Parkhurst made and probably had to order more but I guess they started using the blue paper which lead to them continually using that paper stock...who knows but the blue one is pretty rare!
I decided to start working on the 1933 OPC set. I had picked up a couple of cards in the past when opportunity came up, but I didn't start looking for them until last month.
I picked up the Bailey and Clancy from Sarto and the Shore just arrived today from BMW! I thought it was only appropriate to put the Bailey and Shore next to each other!
