How was the show?...Besides the boxes and 1957 p/h pack opening...what were other highlights/lowlights of the show?

The show is always fun but as for great finds, nothing too much to speak of on my part but I can't speak for everyone.... the fall show should be good.

The highlight for me was seeing the third known C56 #37 Newsy Lalonde at BMW's table (not to mention the other stuff they had). Kinda slow for me since there wasn't alot of pre-war, but had a blast as always.

I had a great time. Found a few items for my sets and hung out with the
Rat Pack crew. Can't wait for the fall show.

Bobby,

I used the term "Rat Pack" as you all get along so well.

The spring show is never as big as the November one, but a few nice items come up. I got 2 Bee Hive premiums, a few food issue advertisings, 2 older autograph Maurice Richard pictures and a Gordie Howe 1950's charm medaillon.

For the gems of the show, aside from the Newsy Lalonde #37 card, I saw a nice Morenz 1922 postcard, some Pep buttons and some Sweet Caporal postcards too. Not bad!!!

Always something to see

Well for me; the highlights included chance to shake Marcel Dionne's hand, the Pack vintage Rats box display, Clancy night green Leafs jersey, Jack Adams whistle, those sweet cap postcards, a great Stratford team pic including Morenz, an autographed Morenz pic in Hawks uniform and a 1907 Silver Seven/Victorias ticket stub.

My pick ups were nothing so shattering; a couple of pucks, a 71-72 OPC wrapper and a Chex variation I needed. No regrets. I had fun.
