I never realized Max Talbot was such a tough guy until he skated by the Detroit bench and issued a challenge. Strange though as Talbot was apparently awol during their game with Montreal during the season when George Laraque did the same thing. I guess it's a lot easier to be tough with Jiri Hudler than it is George Laraque. I, for one, won't weep for Talbot when someone in the NHL gives him a shot to the spleen ala Sean Avery. But Talbot wasn't alone as Chris Kunitz also made a blatant attempt to step on Chris Osgood's leg with his skate during a scrum in Detroit's crease. And this is the team that Gary Bettman wants to be the face of the NHL? GO WINGS! |
