I think I found the answer online. Without giving it away, the person credited (at least on the website I fpund) with inventing the curved hockey stick was NOT in the NHL. I had never heard of him before, personally. Mikita and Hull, I think, developed the first curved hockey sticks used in the NHL.
My search of the internet yielded Klately Young, a novice player who used a curved stick in 1947. Damir, are you talking about a skater or a goalie? NHLer or not?
It was a professional hockey player. Turned pro in 1915 and played in the National Hockey Association and then went to the NHL in 1917.
He is a Hall Of Famer.
