I know we are not supposed to post current items but in this case I think it is prudent.

I am not even sure that these were ever made in the past, I know they were in baseball but
with so many reproductions out there, it is tough to know. This one just looks too dirty to be real. This is the type of item that would stay in someones room or on a shelf, not always looking like it was burried under a chicken coop for 75 years.

I have one of these that I bought off eBay years ago. Not original, but I liked the look of it. Looks like an old one and made of the same heavy materials. I'm also not sure if these were ever made 100 years ago or not.
