vintage program question

H
I recently acquired three early 1930s Hockey programs that I have a question about. The three programs are from the 32-33 and 33-34 seasons. Two of them (one from 32-33 and one from 33-34) are home games for the New York Americans (one against the Bruins and one against the Rangers), while the third is for the New York Rangers (against the Americans).
The ones I have do not have a cover. Are they supposed to? I assume so, but I wanted to double check. The front of the ones I acquired have National Hockey League Season 1932-1933 (or 1933-1934) and then the two teams' lineups below. Underneath the lineups is an ad for public skating. Inside is an article titled Around the Circuit, and on the back there are more ads.
Unfortunately, my scanner is broken but I will try to get it working over the weekend. If someone has one for either of these teams in this time period could you please post it? I really appreciate any help you might be able to provide.
Thanks in advance,

I was able to answer my own question! Originally, all three were supposed to have covers (as I suspected). I still would love to see pictures of similar (or earlier) programs.
