Can someone help me figure out what sets contain LA Sharks? I know they are in the 72/73 OPC and 72/73 team issue, any others?
Thanks!
Andy

If memory serves, the 1972-73 Quaker Oats set has a couple of Sharks. I'll check it out tomorrow and let you know who they are.

My mistake. The Quaker Oats set is 1973-74, and includes one L.A. Shark: Gary Veneruzzo

Marc Tardif is in a Sharks jersey on this card:

1977/78 O-Pee-Chee WHA #20

Marc Tardif was playing for the Nordiques since the 1974-75 season ~ not sure why they even bothered with the "traded" notation, 3 years after the fact ?? / Good Grief !!!

I find it hard to believe they didn't have any photo's of Tardif in a Nords jersey. Maybe they didn't, but for accuracy sake, they easily could have cropped the photo to just show his head ~ maybe it was too much work, maybe they knew the end was near ...........

anyways there's two Sharks pictured in the 73-74 Quaker Oats Set besides Veneruzzo here's JP Leblanc.

I appreciate everyone's help in building a Sharks checklist. The 77/78 of Tardif looks like the same picture from the 72/73 OPC poster. Any chance someone can post a scan of the team issue from 72/73?
