Saw a card this weekend that I had some interest in but didn't purchase, as I didn't have the proper knowledge. It was a PSA 8 OC but centred okay enough for me to be happy with it. Anyways it was a card that would normally be priced at about a thousand dollars. Is there a tried and true formula for off centering prices? Is it 75% of normal value, 50% or perhaps even as low as 25%? Any insight would be most appreciated.
The registry deduction is -2 grades for cards with qualifiers. I think the pricing depends on the individual card and where it will end up, i.e. if you want it for a registry set, it will 'value' 2 grades lower, but if you like it and want it for a PC, it may not get any 'value' discount.
