what is your favorite set, and why ?


1- c56
2- c55
3- c57

56 cause I like it.

c55 for me because it is the vezina rookie set, and i love the drawing in color, the frame with the hockey stick ...after that it is c57

All though i have had many cards from these years i have never kept one card.
I just can not get myself to like these sets that are pre-nhl cards.
For me i like pre war cards starting with the 1923-24 V145-1 William Patterson which are NHL cards.

But all though i do not collect these sets or cards the best looking set of the 1910's IMO are the C55's with that nice dual stick front and classic art design on the back.

I like the C56 set the best due to the fact that it is the first hockey set and the large selection of Hall of Fame rookies.

Next would be the C55 set due to the great looking cards and classic design, and another great selection of rookies.

C57 would come last, primarily due to the look of the cards. They really don't appeal to me much at all.
