Hey Everyone, the show opened yesterday to a pretty big crowd, large line up at door opening, lots of interesting items at the show but I only picked up a couple small 1970's Leaf related items.

The 1954-55 Pack opening is today at noon, that show be a show stopper! Will post a video once I convert it and upload it for you all to see.

Great seeing some of the forum folk, stop by and say hi if you coming today.

Are any of the cards going to get graded ? I'm sure there are
some 1k cards if they come back 9.

out from the corner store with a few waxpacks to open and
some gum to chew.

Holy crap I was nervous opening that pack...Never seen nicer cards. Snow white and glossy.

Hey guys, thanks for sharing that video to those of us unlucky to not be there.

Grant, there might not have been any great stars in that packs but you certainly opened aone with gorgeous card fronts. For the record, I don't ever remember opening packs back in the day with such nice cards. Then again, 68-69 OPC was never renowned for centering.

What about the great pick-ups? Anything else to make us drool and plot how to be at the Fall Show?

Holy crap!! I was nervous watching Grant bieng nervous opening the pack...Cards were gorgeous.

I picked up a 1976-77 OPC wax box along with an uncut sheet set. May not be super vintage but this is the year I most remember opening as a kid. the box used to sit on the counter of my local Variety store "RAYS SMOKE SHOP" in south Oshawa Ontario. I would grab a handfull of packs and open them outside the store. I remember having a huge wad of bubblegum in my mouth. Man that was awesome.

Got some cool stuff too.
