Can somebody who knows tell me whether PSA does on-site card grading/slabbing at the Summit Show, or do they just accept submissions to bring back to the US?
Finally shook off the cobwebs from my weekend in Edmonton. Another solid show with a nice selection of vintage material. Very happy with my pick ups and again got to hang out with some great people. Jim.
I recall a show attendee had stopped by my booth and mentioned that his father was there to consign this Wagner card. At the time I thought..yea right a Wagner card here in Canada, but never gave it much thought after that! I think I seen it walk by in hand of the owner but never seen it up close. Did anyone actually see it? If it was the card I think did it have a portion of it torn away or missing?
Ya, I had a problem at the Toronto Expo with the same Rep for Heritage, Bill.
I was buying some nice items from a guy who came by and was trying to close the deal at my booth and Bill came walking up and just
blurted out a question about a wax pack he was holding, I was in mid conversation doing a $1000 deal and I just
told him "no comment".
Then he came back to me say, Ok, the next time you want information from me, you can forget it...!?
I excused myself from the guy I was doing a deal with because I was pissed off and told him it is not
about that, I am with someone right now, have some consideration.
Needless to say the guy I was dealing with stood there with raised eyebrows because he couldn't believe
what just went down with this guy. Grant was there at that time too, even he looked on with disbelief.
I tried to find Bill after that but I think he left, I really wanted to give him a piece of my mind.
On the upside, I did close the deal regardless.
