I have a 1965 - 66 Oshawa Generals program for an exhibition game featuring Oklahoma vs Boston Bruins. Lots of future Bruins on the Oklahoma team including Gerry Cheevers and Orr is listed as #24 for the Bruins. I am guessing this was a game played in september or october of 1966. Any one seen this particular program before?

It's the same 1965 - 66 Oshawa gold and black program that can be occasionally found but the regular lineups were changed with two printed inserts of the Oklahoma and Boston lineups. It's always been understood Orr wore #27 in pre-season games but this program would indicate otherwise.

Bobby also wore #2 against Shawinigan when playing for Oshawa.

Most likely a program typo ~ Orr never wore #24 in Junior.
