I need to dive into your collective wisdom again regarding Beehive photo's. Apparently there were 3 or 4 different sets of the aeroplanes. One yellow set (salesmans sets) one red set (the first set) one orange set ( the largest set) and one red set marked UN. I would love a little more info. on all these sets such as "player" lists or anything related.I would also like to know if there were any other Beehive "subsets' besides the the shields, olympians, Who's who and the Dionne Quints. I hear a rumour of King Edward also being part of the collection. Any help would be appreciated. I am doomed to the fate of being a completionist and it will drive me nuts if I miss something. I am now at 44% group 1, 68% group 2, 53% group 3, 60% Whos who, 48% orange aeroplanes and a few other items. Still looking for the "Dave Keon" or "Championship skater" skate sharpeners in the package as well. Have all the different size cans with the tokens except for the 1 photo token. Have the can and a stain where the token was. Anything you have that is Beehive related would be of interest to me. I will buy or trade for Items I dont have. I have a very large collection of non beehive hockey related items that I am willing to trade for beehive related items only. Help an old fool and let me know what you have available or any info regarding anything Beehive related. It would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I now have about 60 different print ads related to these sets as well. As I said I am a completionist so I collect ANYTHING Beehive related.
Anything other then hockey seems to be very tough. There is a small set of either Olympians or athletes. There may be more "Royalty" other than the one you mentioned.
You may be getting close to the position every completionist collector gets to, an advanced state where it becomes tough/expensive to add a new item to your collection.
Patience my friend.
Sorry: just noticed you did mention the olympians.
