It's now 7 a.m. CDT, and the temperature is 62 degrees. Yesterday we hit a high of 100!!! We also had some thunderstorms in the evening, which were a welcome relief! Today's high is supposed to be around 78 degrees.

It's almost the same here, LN. It's 70 now, with a forecast high of only 78. After several days of 100 and plus weather, it's sure a relief!!!

It's 37 degrees here. What happened to fall? This feels more like winter to me!

I refuse to turn on the heater .... the dogs are huddled on the couch and the flies are all freezing on the ceiling. If I turn on the heat, those puppies will start walking around looking for hiding places to make squalor and the flies will start buzzing around everywhere.

Ok .. I'm freezing .... I may trade heat for peace and tranquility. I think I'll give in for just a little while!
