Wow-this is bad and it has the Grey Flannel Coa to boot. MeiGray could back me up this. AD always wore a size 42 with 2 inch extra length-not a size 40. I've never seen a number tag (has a #4 tag)either. Plus, look how short that jersey looks? It's almost funny. AD was 6'5. That wouldn't make it down to his belly button. I don't know how to load the picture on here but go check it out. It's already at 400.00. A shame that GF would authenticate something that fake and a shame it's gonna go for so much money.

The jersey looks REALLY short. I have never seen the "40RC" and "4" tags. The seller is completely legit. I have purchased some of the best items in my collection from him. I don't know if he purchased this based on the Grey Flannel letter. Sand Knit made store bought Mavs #4s without NOBs, during this era. The store shirts have NO extra length added. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50135&item=5215255474&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW&tc=photo
This photo is from the http://www.dickscourtroom.com collection. It is from the same era, as Dantley played only a couple of seasons in Dallas. This site is a great resource for hoop collectors...Notice the shirt-tail...
Dantley NEVER wore a size 40. Dantley NEVER cut his jerseys short. Mavs jerseys NEVER looked liked this. Meigray already backed this up. It just shows most auction houses will sell anything as "game used" to make a quick buck. Just look at this jersey and you know it's bad. It might make it down to AD's belly button. No way he could tuck it into his shorts. Geez, what's next from AMI?
