I have a pair of game used blue 2004-05 Nike Air Zoom Lebron James Shoes. They are size 15.5 and on the inside of the tongue it says, "Made exclusively for Lebron James" and has a '05 too. There is a pair on ebay right now, same brand as mine, but are size 16 and on the tongue it says, "Made in China", etc. Two differences already. My son has a pair of these shoes he used in hoops last year and his are made in China too. Anyway, the seller says they were used in a triple-double game but gives no date of game or any other information of how they were obtained, etc. The thing is, this guy lives in Phoenix, and Lebron only wore the white shoes in home games. Always wore the blacks on the road. I have my doubts about his shoes being game used, but maybe you guys know something I don't??
G.Todd-Where did you get the shoes if you don't mind-it could help us.Most of the time the players today have every sneaker(I call 'em that)custom made."Made exclusively for Lebron James" is something I wouldn't put on my sneaker if I were the player but then again who else would be wearing a size 15 1/2. The hobby is hard enough in figuring out jerseys and bats but now we have to consider pants,sneakers,etc-personally you shouldn't collect anything from below the waist.-Robert
from a guy that works at the United Center. I photo matched them before hand and everything was perfect. The "Made exclusively for Lebron James" tongue and year 2005, made it very believable, besides being size 15.5. They were also autographed. They were only used in one game, but that's probably about the norm nowadays. But he only wore that colored shoe (white with blue trim) in about 16 home games as I getty checked it. That's about all I know.
