I had to make an unexpected trip to China even though I am scheduled to have been there on April 5th!!!!!!!!!

The essentials:

Hmmm, just enough time to stop and relax in the lounge:

This plane took us from Montreal to Vancouver and actually was the same one that flew us on to Shanghai!!!

88 is all set for the GMT time zones!!!

Still trying to figure out how to strap this wall, with 5 time zones, to my wrist, LOL!!!!!!!!

Almost set to go:

For those who didn’t know, my 15.5 year old daughter came with me. She was off for her Spring Break:

Cheers & here we go!!!!!!!!!!!

In Shanghai with my 88 in front of the Pearl Tower in Pudong:

The Peace Hotel on the Bund undergoing renovations:

There’s a great place in Yu Gardens that makes some of the best Xiǎolóngbāo.

“From Wikipedia………………..
Xiǎolóngbāo (literally "little basket bun"; also known as soup dumpling[1] is a type of baozi (filled bun or bread-like item) from Eastern China, including Shanghai and Wuxi. These buns are traditionally steamed in bamboo baskets, hence the name..”

Wash it down with some local beer!!!!

Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for more…………

It doesn’t get any fresher than this……..made now and served within minutes!!!

All this was new to Michelle, LOL!!

After Yu Gardens we hopped in a taxi (the cheapest ride in the world!!!) and made our way to Plaza 66 and the Panerai Boutique……..

The strap selection was weak and the watch selection was worse!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to have this strap box ))))

Here’s Yuki & I!! Sammi no longer works at the Boutique and Eva has moves to the back-office.

Still lining up to spend obscene money on an LV bag in Plaza 66!!!

Part of the new “watch gallary’ at Plaza 66………….

At the new Hublot Boutique:

Took a break for a double espresso macchiato:

After Plaza 66 and Nanjing Road we made it over to Xian Tan Di and had dinner at Luna.

Here’s a father/daughter wrist shot:

Wow, it was busy day…………..Pearl Tower, the Bund, Yu Gardens and lunch, Plaza 66, and Xin Tian Di for dinner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phew, I’m pooped so see you in Part 2.
