Some of you may know that I traveled to Switzerland last Monday on my way to watch Match 13 on Friday between Italia & Romania.

Just like the cockpit crew, I have a pre-flight check-list…………

• Watch(s) – Check
• Straps – Check
• Spare camera battery – Check
• Blackberry – Check
• Karma bracelet – Check
• Spare glasses – Check

I decided to start off with the 88 on this new combo!!!

Arriving Geneva. George’s photo is for use outside of USA only, LOL!!!!!!!

We had a great room:

Met up with non-other than our buddy Amr.

I couldn’t resist this wrist shot with his latest:

With my pair:

Amr, it’s always great to catch up when I’m in Geneva:

Shopping for chocolates:

Before we move on to Zurich, I just wanted to share at least one photo of each of the IWC 140th Anniversary Vintage Collection. These are the Platinum versions with the White dial

OK, wrap them up, I’ll take one of each, LOL!!!!!!!!!!

The new Spitfire Doppel with the contrast Androise border and sub-dials, with Red accents:

Double Doppels, lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was lucky to also get the new 2008 catalogue:

Morning watch for the train ride to Zurich:

More 88 at the game:

Back to the VIP area:

More Hublot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was great to meet up again with Nicolas.

He was hiding my Panerai 88 because I was in the Hublot area, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what I wore to the game:

It was an amazing experience to attend a world-class event. It was especially memorable with the VIP access

It’s also great to come back home

Heading to Zurich airport:

Settling in with a good book for the flight back over the Atlantic!!!
