Piraeus is Greece's third largest city in terms of population and its biggest port.

Once our private driver picked us up, we immediately proceeded to the Acropolis early in the morning and beat most of the bus tours, although there were already some people there:

I found the only shade under this tree in the Acropolis, LOL!!!!!!!!

View from the hill where St-George Church sits on top:

Inside the church:

Changing of the guards:

The Temple of Zeus:

Athens - Olympic Stadium:

Stopped in this store to buy a St-George icon for my Dad who is named George

Too much sightseeing. We asked the driver to drop us off at a café for a little break:

Athens traffic:

Local cafes:

Tower of the Seven Winds!

This was a natural mineral pool just outside of the city:

On our way to Cape Sounion we stopped at this place for lunch:

Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back on board in time for dinner!

I had ordered the dozen Red roses for Houda’s birthday and they were already in the cabin when we checked in!!!

Athens is a wonderful city but it was extremely hot and humid. I would definitely love to revisit.

Thanks for staying this long on the tour, LOL!!!!!
