The ship docked at Civitavecchia at 4AM & everyone had to be off the ship by 9:30AM so that the crew can clean up and prepare for the sailing that same afternoon with 2,000 other people!!!!
We had an 8:30AM disembarkation and everything went smoothly.
Waiting for our driver:
He showed up at exactly the designated time and took us right to our Rome hotel, the St-Regis.
We arrived early in the morning and our room would be ready in a short while so we were invited to have a coffee.
This is the main lobby area where we sat while our room was getting the final touches, it was magnificent!!!!!
As soon we checked in we immediately walked three blocks to the Termini (Rome’s main train station):
Where are we going now????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
