I hope that my China trip reports are not becoming redundant and starting to look too familiar
I was recently in China & HK from July 2-10!
I always go through a check-list before leaving to make sure that I haven’t forgotten anything:
Hanging out at the Air Canada lounge in Montreal before departure:
The plane:
The gate:
Settling in:
The lounge in Vancouver airport waiting for the connecting flight to Shanghai:
A little snack to hold me over
180 degree sleeper seats on Executive First:
Some White wine to help me sleep on the way:
The newly opened terminal in Shanghai Pudong Airport:
In transit between Pudong and the local domestic airport:
Arriving at Hongqiao airport:
I got whisked away on a private VIP shuttle to the airplane:
Arriving at Ningbo airport:
I may have to try the yet-to-be-opened Shangri-La Hotel during my next visit:
Hmmmm, my first pick-up of the morning is LATE, should have been here at 7:30AM!!!!
There was a lot of military movement on the road to Xianshen from Ningbo. Might have something to do with the stepped-up security for the Olympics:
I wonder what he’s selling:
Local transportation:
I have a bottle of this stuff but still haven’t opened it, so I’m letting it age, LOL!!!!!!!
The next morning’s selection:
I discovered a great new Italian restaurant in Ningbo called Amore & I highly recommend it:
Another day…………….
……………another factory visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grid-lock causes most of the traffic delays:
I just love the size of these rooms at my hotel:
Last day in Ningbo:
….and I settled on the 88:
First Class lounge:
My plane to Hong Kong:
There’s nothing like a good book on a flight to help me sleep, LOL!!!!!!!!!
Next stop is Hong Kong and an amazing GTG with a great group of local Ristis (and a surprise guest, not me, LOL!!!!!), and TONS of watches!!!!!!!!!!
Thank for looking
Montreal, Canada
