The Unutterable Sadness of Crow

Hi Everyone,

We have had a few desperately sad days here at Crow Towers after losing our eighteen and a half years old dog Prince last Thursday. He was a German Shepherd/Collie cross and we miss him terribly. To try to cheer ourselves up, we went out for a long walk yesterday afternoon in the countryside around Bolton. It was a lovely day and as we walked we let our thoughts drift along with the clouds. Both my wife, myself and our granddaughter all found it a very therapeutic experience. I'm sure we all have had such quiet moments following a bereavement, whether it be a close family member or a much loved family pet. Clouds can be great healers if you let them, grounding your feelings and putting everything into perspective. I'm sure Prince was with us in spirit on our walk....

Here are some of the clouds and contrails we saw....
