As a teacher, I appreciate correct spelling too, but I have always maintained that when you're expressing how you feel about something, it's the quality of the expression that's more important than the spelling. If I picked up every spelling error in my children's writing, I'm pretty sure they would never want to write anything!

Bringing the subject back to the original thread title - we have indeed been experiencing some interesting weather. But that's why I'm glad I live in England, especially in Devon. It's the very unpredictability of it that makes it interesting and, of course, 'April showers bring May flowers' - I always look forward to May, my favourite month. Outside my window at the moment there's a mixture of blue sky and cumulus, some of it looking ominously rain-bearing. So, on with the mac and the hat and off to work I go.......
