On 11/11/11 BBC Radio 3 played Haydn's Minuet a la Reverso from Symphony #47. The second half is the reverse of the first half (they said).
On clouds the only possibility I could think of was crepuscular and anti-crepuscular, but not quite a palindrome perhaps. Dawn and alpenglow?

I think that is a great analogy. The first time I ever noticed anti-crepuscular rays I was puzzled by what appeared to be "rays" of darkness. Yes, it is a heavenly palindrome.
