Panerai size comparisons on a 6.5" wrist.

Hey gang,

I often see many questions asking if Panerai is too big for a small wrist. What I have learned is that you can't look at your wrist directly as there is an optical illusion of sorts. If you look directly, the watch will look MUCH larger than what it really looks like (or at least to others who are looking). For instance, here is a pic of a 1950 directly on my wrist (6.5").

Looks huge right? But what you need to do is look in a mirror as this is how the watch will really be viewed. Below are some pics of my watches. See the difference with the 1950?

40-41mm Omega

43mm Anonimo

44mm Luminor

45mm Radiomir

47mm 127

A quick comparison.

Personally I love the look and feel of 47mm although it will catch people off guard the first time they see it. Im so used to the fiddy now, that i rarely wear anything smaller than my Radiomir. I remember a time when my Seamaster look HUGE. Weird huh?
