I saw it with my own eyes.
The sad part was the parents, coachs and kids continued to cheer for each and every goal..
The VR coach kept yelling lets get another one boys.

They were going for a 5 touchdown lead. This Vaughan Rangers coaching staff has no class. There are some excellent coaches in the Vaughan Organization.
I'm sure there will be the Rangers apologists who will say:
1. Downsview shouldn't field a team, and its all the Downsview parents fault that they should put thier kids on better teams. In other words "you deserved that humiliation"
2. That the all-mighty Rangers won the 22-1 cliffhanger because as you know "A" hockey is competitive
3. This was more embarassing for the Parents the kids have forgotten already.
The reality is "A" hockey is developmental, and over the years a teams strength is going to be different.
By all means compete to win the game, pad your stats, work on fundamentals, once your up by 10 or so find another use for the game from a developmental standpoint. but draw the line at crushing a childs spirit.
