Sure... I'd like to see something 'interesting' in N.A.... rather than what we have now.
I bet if a new X1/9 came about, it certainly would be mid-engined. That is the most ideal setup for a sports car, a 2+2 is only in the interest of sales... nothing more. It is hard to sell a 2 seater sports car today. Many high end sports cars are 2+2s, even Porsche.
