Geneva is over... now what?

Now that the Geneva show has ended, there is probably not going to be any new info or media attention toward the X1/99 for a while. Our friend Tony from IED said that Webasto plans to show the car at Tokyo, Frankfurt and Detroit auto shows next year under the Webasto brand, but for now, I think we may have heard the last of anything new about this X1/99 concept car...

In any event, if Fiat DOES seriously consider production of ANY sort of X1/9 'successor' model as a result of the X1/99, it would probably not be a consideration that will be openly discussed to the media, but rather something considered at the company without publicity (for now)...

This forum section will remain open, for the time being, for ongoing discussion around the idea of Fiat producing ANY evolution of the X1/9, and enthusiasts' thoughts on matters related to the idea. Fiat is watching this site as well as it is very near the top of all major search engines on the subject, so this forum will continue to be the "Internet focal point" for all interested parties going forward, regardless of the "status" of the X1/99 concept car.

Please feel free to start new discussions, continue to participate in existing discussions, and carry on sharing your thoughts. The world is still here watching every day
