Response to Yep, I read it...

As long as it isn't a hybrid. the battery's would easily wiegh in around 100-150 lbs. If you have a decent number of cells. I will concede that perhaps luxery model would be good for sales and profits as it would apeal to many. however the main things I think do not belong on a sucsessor to an X are a hybrid engine system and a semi or full automatic transmission. A paddle shifter system would be cool as long as you still have to use the clutch to down shift ala F1. automatic transmisions scare me. I do think there is a place for cvts they are kinda neet in some ways. perhaps multiple engine variations could be made. But hybrids can have performance but not for a real long period of time at once. I have no qualms about running on E85 or 190 proof It burns cleaner is cheeper than gasoline (you do go through more of it though) especial if you distill it yourself. you can get a tax credit if you run it (thank you Jimmy Carter). oh it also has some oxegen in it maybe we can run it richer it also cools the intakes down and produces more power if done properly. I do throw back a few pints now and then but usualy I walk around when I do. Driveing under the influence is not only illegal it's hard. you have to pay attention. the one and only time I did this at 6am in the mourning I drove like a total complete wuss it was hard I went about 10mph below the speed limit most places. Never again. I have extreemly good balence on a bicycle however I can even play frisbee while rideing.

As for my girlfrinds most are I'm guessing between 120 and 135lbs. but I'm not stupid enough to ask.
B.T.W. my driving record is perfect no accidents or tickets ever and I'm going on four years with my licence. I have had some interesting encounters with standing water on the freeway and sideroads at the speed limit but have countersteered and corected adequatley every time I did kock the antenna off my pickup from one of these encounters with the branches of a row of trees but that is it. I'm thinking about becomeing a drivers ed instructor if I can keep this up for another year. My students would have an interesting curiculem;). I'm thinking it would start with fundementals like under and oversteer, coefficeints of friction and progress to topics such as polar moments and instant centers. The drive test might be an auto cross course. We would have a lot more demenstrations than the average class.

I almost always drive safely. it's the people that do not accelerate on on ramps that are dangerous Imo.
Perhaps some luxeries would be acceptable as long as they can someday be taken out. If I bought one of these cars new I would probobly wait untill I got married to strip it and build it into a rally car.
