Here's what I had to do to get it to run in DOS.

Obtain the W98 boot disk programme from microprose and run it first time under (option 9 I think) no EMS.

Install Tornado from the disks.

Amend the tornado.bat file by changing the line that read "amp.exe" to read "lh amp.exe" (NB: Space between lh & amp). Obviously save the amendment.

Shove in the boot disk & restart windows. Change directory to tornado etc.. & away you go!

I do have a copy post from the message board about a chap who used a windows desk top shortcut to run Tornado in W9x but could never get that to work for me. If you want it I could retype it & send it to you. You may have better luck. Let me know.
